Win a Night Out with Zapper Worth R1500

This giveaway is only open to Zapper users who have loaded at least one membership, loyalty, or rewards card to the “My Cards” feature in the app, and who have not yet made any Zapper transactions.

Have you been using Zapper for storing your membership and rewards cards? It’s a great digital wallet, and so quick to pull up your cards to scan at the till.

But if you haven’t used Zapper to make a transaction yet, we have some good news for you. That first transaction could put you into the running to win a night out worth R1500!

This means dinner and drinks for two at a nearby Zapper-accepting restaurant of your choice, PLUS a voucher for Uber to get you there and back safe and sound.

How to enter

Any one of the following transactions count as an entry:

1. Find a Zapper-accepting merchant in your area, whether it’s a coffee shop, restaurant for family dinner, spa, fuel station, etc. and use your Zapper app to scan and pay
2. Shop online at a Zapper-accepting ecommerce store, choosing Zapper as payment option upon checkout
3. Pay for your parking at a nearby mall using the Zapper app
4. Shop in the Zapper app for digital gift vouchers
5. Renew your car licence and pay for it in the Zapper app 
6. Settle your bills in the Zapper app 
7. Make a donation to a worthy cause 

That’s it. One successful Zapper payment, and you’re in the draw. But keep them coming, as each one counts as an entry.

Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter: This competition is run by Zapper (Pty) Ltd (“Zapper,” “we,” “us”).
2. Eligibility: South African residents who are 18 years or older at the time of entry, who (a) hold a valid Zapper account with at least one saved loyalty, membership or rewards card on the app and (b) have not previously completed a qualifying transaction of any type listed above prior to the campaign launch date. 
3. Competition period: The competition opens on 1 July 2026 and closes at 23:59 SAST on 31 July 2026 (“the Competition Period”). Entries received outside this window will not be valid.
4. How to enter: eligible participants must complete one or more qualifying transactions using the Zapper app at any participating Zapper merchant, online checkout, parking payment, voucher purchase, bill payment, car licence renewal, or donation. Every successful Zapper transaction counts as one entry. There’s no minimum or maximum number of transactions required to qualify, beyond the first.
5. Prize: One (1) winner will receive a night out to the value of R1,500 (in form of vouchers), comprising:
   1. Dinner for two at a participating premium restaurant
   2. Uber credit for return transport 
6. The prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or any alternative. Restaurant availability is subject to reservation. Zapper reserves the right to substitute any prize component of equal or greater value if a specific component becomes unavailable. It’s the winner’s responsibility to ensure that the restaurant accepts Zapper and to confirm this directly before making the booking.
7. Winner selection: One winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries (successful transactions) after the Competition Period closes. The draw will take place on or before 1 August 2026.
8. Entry verification and disqualification: Zapper reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and participants. Any participant found to be manipulating the entry process, using fraudulent payment methods, or otherwise acting unfairly may be disqualified at Zapper’s sole discretion.
9. Limitation of liability: Zapper, its affiliates, partners, and suppliers will not be liable for any technical failures, system errors, transaction delays, or network interruptions that may affect participation in the promotion. Zapper is also not responsible for the availability, quality, or service provided by the restaurant or Uber, both of which are independent third parties. By entering, participants agree that Zapper will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the competition or acceptance and use of the prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law. 
10. Notification: The winner will be contacted via the email address registered to their Zapper account within 10 business days of the draw. If the winner does not respond within 3 business days of notification, Zapper reserves the right to draw an alternative winner.
11. Prize redemption: Full redemption details will be communicated to the winner upon notification. Prize components must be redeemed by 30 December 2026. Zapper accepts no responsibility for prize components that are not redeemed within this period.
12. Publicity consent: By entering this competition, participants consent to Zapper using their name and/or image for promotional purposes related to this campaign, without additional compensation, and in accordance with applicable law. 
13. General: By entering, participants agree to these T&Cs. Zapper’s decision in all matters relating to this competition is final and binding. Zapper reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel this competition at any time, and to disqualify any participant found to be in breach of these T&Cs or acting in a manner deemed unfair or fraudulent. This competition is subject to South African law.
14. Privacy: Personal information collected in connection with this competition will be processed in accordance with Zapper’s Privacy Policy, available at zapper.com. Information will only be used to administer the competition and notify the winner.
