How it works
- Buy any gift voucher (or more) in the Zapper app
- Each voucher = one entry into the weekly draw
- If you win, we’ll repay the voucher value to you in ZapCash (up to R1000) directly in your Zapper app
What’s ZapCash?
ZapCash is a digital balance in your Zapper app, like a digital currency, that you can:
- Spend at any Zapper merchant in-store or online, or
- Use it to buy another gift voucher (for yourself or someone else) right in the app
How to buy a gift voucher in the Zapper app
- Download or open Zapper and log in
- Tap “Vouchers” on the home screen
- Under “Buy vouchers”, browse brands and choose your favourite (e.g., Takealot, Netflix, Roblox, Uber, Spotify, and more)
- Pick an amount
- Choose “For me” or “Gift to someone”, and add their details if gifting
- Pay with Zapper to complete your purchase
- Done! You’ve just earned an entry for the giveaway
Note: Some vouchers are enabled through our partners, so the flow of buying a voucher will look a little different. It will take you straight to the payment, whereafter it will give you the option to share the voucher code to someone’s phone, for example via WhatsApp.
How to redeem a voucher
- Find your voucher in Zapper → Vouchers → Then toggle to “My Vouchers” at the top
- Tap the voucher and follow the brand’s redemption steps (these vary by brand; some give a code to apply at checkout, others will apply automatically when you pay using Zapper).
Spending ZapCash if you win
- Spend it all at once or across multiple transactions
- Simply pay with Zapper, and your ZapCash voucher will be available to redeem

This promotion runs from 1 October 2025 to 1 December 2025 (“Promotional Period”). Zapper reserves the right to cancel, amend, or pause this giveaway at any time without prior notice.
Eligibility
This competition is open to all residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older. Employees, agents, or affiliates of Zapper (Pty) Ltd and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
How to Enter
To qualify, participants must purchase any digital gift voucher via the Zapper app during the Promotional Period.
Each qualifying voucher purchase counts as one (1) entry into the draw. Multiple entries are permitted.
Prize Details
One (1) winner will be selected each week during the Promotional Period.
Each winner will receive a ZapCash voucher equal to the value of their winning voucher purchase, capped at R1,000 per winner.
ZapCash prizes will be credited directly to the winner’s Zapper app and may be redeemed at any merchant that accepts Zapper, or used to purchase other digital vouchers within the app.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash, and subject to availability.
Winner Selection and Notification
Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries and contacted within five (5) business days after each weekly draw, via the contact details linked to their Zapper account.
General Conditions
Zapper reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to these Terms and Conditions and acknowledge that Zapper’s decision is final and binding.
Limitation of Liability
Zapper and its affiliates are not responsible for any technical errors, malfunctions, delays, or failures beyond their control that may affect participation or prize delivery.
