Three possible reasons which can lead to error messages of the miniZAP®:
Are you using enough electrode gel? (no-load recognition is improved in the third generation).
Is the electrode cable undamaged? (Drops out from third generation upwards, now its very durable).
Are the batteries fresh? (miniZAP® gives low batt signal anyway).

The miniZAP®i LCD finally has arrived!
- LCD display of all relevant informations and messages.
- Two set buttons (instead of turn wheel), no mechanical parts any more.
- Even more compact, lighter (only 23 g weight, 26 cube centimetres volume)
- Produces up to 1000 µA current (standard version: 800 µA).
The standard model is still available for lower price in our shop, and you can upgrade, too.

The miniZAP® now has a maximum of 800 µA current (instead of 400 µA). By this we take into
account those users who dont feel the tingling at 400 µA (though it should be sufficient). At 600 µA the pulsation is disturbing, at 800 µA it starts hurting badly. An upgrade of the old version is
possible.

The third miniZAP® Generation complies with Regulation 93/42 EWG for medical devices. The miniZAP
® distinguishes better than ever between dry skin and no-load operation which avoids unnecessary error messages. The maximum output signal of the miniZAP® was increased from 32 to 34 V
and is thus 5-7V higher than the maximum voltage of conventional Beck zappers.

The miniZAP® is developed constantly. The second generation offers the following innovations:
Acoustical error messages (in addition to optical signals).
No battery consumption in power off mode, about 50% less consuming elektronic circuits, thereby significant
prolongation of battery life.
LED power saving mode (blinking can be switched off).
No more 120-minutes-power off automatics, switch off by button push.
Software updates of the micro controller are now possible (save for future).
